Medicare Savings Programs

The Medicare Savings Program (MSP) assists people with limited incomes and resources to pay some or all of Medicare's premiums and may pay Medicare deductibles and coinsurance.

There are four MSPs. If you qualify for one, you automatically qualify for EXTRA HELP paying the costs of Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage.

 How do I apply?

If you naswer yes to these 3 questions, call 2-1-1 or visit www.yourtexasbenefits.com to see if you qualify for a Medicare Savings Program.

1. Do you have, or are you eligible for, Part A?

2. Is your income for 2015 at, or below, the income limits?

3. Do you have limited resources, below the resource limits?

It's important to call or fill out an application if you think you could qualify for savings - even if your income or resources are higher than the amounts listed here.
